Kairos Space
Space is the network that sits above Kairos instances. It is how you share something specific with an app, a person, or an agent — and how you take a private project live. Your instance is the source of truth and works completely without it.
How sharing works
Connect
Your instance introduces itself to the network with an id and a public key it generates on your machine. That is all it sends. Connected and sharing are different things — at this point you are sharing nothing.
Grant
You pick one thing and one recipient: this planet, this app, read only. It is a deliberate act with a name on it, not a setting that quietly defaults on.
Revoke
Change your mind and access stops immediately — not at the end of a billing cycle, not after a sync. Disconnecting entirely revokes every grant you ever made.
What an app can see
Exactly what you granted it, and nothing else. An app on Space has no directory of users and no way to discover what it was not given. Two independent checks have to agree before any request is served: the credential must be allowed to ask, and your grant must still be live. Either one missing is a refusal.
Every access — allowed or refused — is written to a tamper-evident log that you can read. It is your data; you get to see who touched it.
